Sergeant Frank Tracey and Detective Ian Rasmussen will represent the Fairfield Police Department this year in the upcoming Police Unity Tour. This event is a four-day, nearly 300 mile bicycle ride that departs from Florham Park, N.J. on May 9, 2017 and concludes when the cyclists reach the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C. on May 12, 2017.

The event calls attention to our nation’s many law enforcement officers that made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.  Each participant is required to raise $1850.00 in order to participate, with the funds being directly donated to the law enforcement memorial.

These officers can use the help and support of our community in helping them raise the required funding.   Interested donors can visit the Police Unity Tour main Web page at and click the Sponsor a Member link on the right side of the page. Then simply type in "Fairfield" and users will be redirected to our team fundraising page. Or they could try our direct fundraising link:

The Fairfield Police Department thank all for their support of this event and of our officers
