Theft- On April 29th, Officer Thomas Myers investigated the theft of a dealer license plate at Skyline Auto Exchange, located at 100 Route 46
Fire- On April 29th, Officer Ian Rasmussen and other Fairfield and West Caldwell police officers responded to a report of a structure fire at 3 Ray Place. Apparently, a fire started under the deck of the residence. It was extinguished by the Fairfield Fire Department
Warrant Arrest- On April 30th, Officer John McGrory observed a vehicle illegally parked at the LaQuinta hotel, located at 38 Two Bridges Road. While investigating, two individuals approached the car. THe officer later determined one of the individuals had active warrants from the Paramus and Ridgewood Municipal Courts. Arrested was Kieren Casey (25) of River Edge, N.J.
Domestic Violence- On April 30th, Officer Thomas Myers investigated a domestic violence case involving harassment within the Township.
Traffic Impound- On April 30th, Officer John McGrory impounded a vehicle that was allegedly unregistered and uninsured
Theft- On April 30th, Officer Ian Rasmussen investigated a theft of dealer license plate at Skyline Auto Auction, located at 100 Route 46.
Civil Dispute- On April 30th, Officer Thomas Myers responded to a civil dispute at a Pier Lane residence
Warrant Arrest- On May 1st, Sgt. Keegan, and Officers Nicholas, Didyk and Hlubik responded to 10 Madison Road on a dispute. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that one of the individuals involved had an active warrant issued by the Bayonne Municipal Court. Arrested was Anselmo Riboldi (47) of Newark, N.J.
Recovered Stolen Property- On May 1st, the Fairfield Police Department was contacted by the Hot Spring County Arkansas Sheriff's Department and notofied of the recovery of a gun that was reported stolen in Fairfield in 1980
Warrant Arrest- On May 2nd, Officer Jeffrey Didyk conducted a random license plate check of a vehicle traveling on Route 46 and discovered the registered owner of the vehicle had a suspended drivers license and active arrest warrants. Arrested was Barshay Muhammad 2nd (28) of Roselle, N.J.
Assist Other Agency- On May 2nd, Sgt. David Proctor and Officer Stacy Chiarolanza assisted the New Jersey State Police during a pursuit of an individual from Route 80 onto Horseneck Road in Fairfield where the individual was finally stopped and taken into custody
Theft- On May 3rd, Sgt. Daniel Dias investigated a theft that took place at Strategy Development Group, located at 116 Fairfield Road. The theft involved the taking of a backpack leaf blower.
Warrant Arrest- On May 3rd, Officer Brian Sabatelli stopped a vehicle on Passaic Avenue for having committed an alleged motor vehicle violation. During the course of the stop, it was determined that the driver had an active arrest warrant issued by the Paterson Municipal Court. Arrested was David Delvalle (40) of Paterson, N.J.
Domestic Violence- On May 4th, Officer John McGrory investigated a case of domestic violence involving harassment within the Township
Domestic Violence- On May 4th, Officer Brian Sabatelli investigated an incident of domestic violence involving an assault within the township. One arrest was made
Theft- On May 4th, Officer John Mcgrory responded to a Henning Drive residence to investigate the theft of jewelry
During the course of this time period, the Fairfield Police Department responded to 16 calls for medical assistance and 10 motor vehicle crashes
