Shoplifting Arrest- On June 24th, Officer Thomas Myers arrested an individual for shoplifting at the Target store, located on Route 46 East (See Press Release for details)
Threats- On June 24th, Officer THomas Myers investigated a report of threats received by an individual on his cell phone
Warrant Arrest- On June 24th, Officer Ian Rasmussen stopped a motor vehicle for speeding on Route 46. Investigation revealed the driver had a suspended license and an outstanding warrant. Arrested was Fulvio Battaglia (38) of Lyndhurst, N.J.
Criminal Mischief- On June 24th, Officer Thomas Myers investigated an act of criminal mischief that occurred at Biond Plumbing and Heating, located at 376 Hollywood Avenue. The incident involved a rock breaking a glass door
Recovered Stolen Vehicle- On June 24th, Officer Ian Rasmussen investigated the recovery of a stolen vehicle at Skyline Auto Auction, located at 100 Route 46 East
Theft- On June 25th, Officer Thomas Myers investigated the theft of a license plate that took place at Skyline Auto Auction, located at 100 Route 46 East
Attempted Burglary- On June 25th, Officer THomas Myers investigated an attempted burglary that took place at the Van Dessel House, located at 279 Hollywood Avenue. This property is part of the Township's recreation buildings
MV Pursuit-On June 26th, at approximately 11:34 PM, Officer Gerald Veneziano attempted to stop a motorcycle that was traveling at a high rate of speed. A motor vehicle pursuit took place and was terminated for safety reasons
Theft- On June 26th, Officer Brian Holzmann investigated a theft of batteries and copper that took place at the Metro PCS cell tower, located at 81 Two Bridges Road
Theft- On June 26th, Officer Jeffrey Didyk investigated a theft of merchandise that took place at Lennox Parts Plus, located at 4 Gardner Road
Warrant Arrest- On June 27th, Officer John McGrory stopped a car on Fairfield Road for a motor vehicle violation. Investigation revealed that one of the individuals in the vehicle had active arrest warrants. Arrested was Martin Ellen (42) of Passaic, N.J.
Theft- On June 27th, Officer Christopher Nicholas investigated a theft of cash that took place at MAC Windows Systems, located at 4 Spielman Road
Warrant Arrest- On June 27th, Officer Jeffrey Didyk conducted a random license plate inquiry of a vehicle that was traveling on Route 46 West. The inquiry indicated that the vehicle's registration was expired and the registered owner's license was suspended. The vehicle was stopped on Hollywood Avenue. Further investigation revealed that the front seat passenger had several warrants for his arrest. The vehicle was impounded and the driver issued summonses for suspended license and unregistered vehicle. Arrested was Jose Amaya (30) of Newark, N.J.
DWI Arrest- On June 28th, Officer Steven Ptaszynski arrested an individual for allegedly operating a vehicle while under the influence. (See press release for further details)
