Credit Card Theft- On August 19th, Officers Ian Rasmussen and Raymond Puluse investigated the theft of a credit card and its fraudulent use (See press release for details)

Warrant Arrest- On August 20th, Officer Christopher Hlubik stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 46. Investigation revealed the driver had active arrest warrants issued by the Pequannock Municipal Court. Arrest was Mevlan Asani (20) of Lincoln Park, N.J.

Theft- On August 20th, Officers Ian Rasmussen and Raymond Puluse investigated a theft of food products and a Penske truck from Vel-Mac Foods, located at 20 Stewart Place. THe theft allegedly involved an employee who went out with the truck and never returned with it.

Criminal Mischief- On August 20th, Officers Ian Rasmussen and Raymond Puluse responded to the Comfort Inn, located at 286 Route 46 East to investigate an act of criminal mischief involving damage in one of the guest rooms.

Motor Vehicle Theft- On August 21st, Officer Ian Rasmussen investigated a theft of a 2012 Chrysler that was taken from Skyline Auto Auction, located on Route 46

Fire- On August 22nd, Officer Brian Holzmann and the Fairfield Fire Department responded to Big Messages, located at 7 Kingsbridge Road, on a report of a car fire.

Terroristic Threats- On August 22nd, Officers Christopher Nicholas and Jeffrey Dean investigated a report of a threat made against an employee of Jose Tejas, located on Route 46

Warrant Arrest- On August 22nd, Officer RJ Casendino arrested an individual for having an active arrest warrant (See press release for details)

Theft- On August 23rd, Officer Christopher Andrews investigated a theft of a computer from Leisure Fitness, located at 430 Route 46

Theft- On August 23rd, Sgt. Daniel Dias investigated the theft of dealer license plates from Skyline Auto Exchange, located on Route 46 East

Warrant Arrest- On August 24th, Officers John McGrory and Raymond Puluse conducted a random license plate inquiry of a vehicle parked in the lot of the LaQuinta hotel, located at 38 Two Bridges Road. The check revealed that the registered owner of the vehicle had outstanding warrants issued by the Clifton and Pequannock Municipal Courts. The officers determined what room the vehicle's owner was staying in and proceeded to investigate. Arrested was Shanera Walker (24) of Paterson, N.J. while conducting this investigation, a second individual found in the room was also wanted on an outsanding warrant issued by the Wayne Municipal Court. Arrested was Francisco Hernandez (22) of Paterson, N.J.

Robbery- On August 25th, while investigating prostitution taking place at a local hotel, Officers Frank Tracey and Christopher Hlubik discovered that an alleged prostitute was the victim of a robbery the previous day (See press release for details)

Theft- On August 25th, Officer Thomas Myers investigated a theft of gasoline that took place at the Hess station, located at 90 Route 46 East.

 During this time period the Fairfield Police Department responded to 19 requests for medical assistance and 10 motor vehicle crashes
