Fairfield (NJ) The Fairfield Police Department announces the culmination of a two month theft investigation with the arrest of Ryan G. Snedeker (39) of South River, N.J. on May 1, 2013. Snedeker is the former operations manager of Jay Hill Repairs, located on Clinton Road in Fairfield. It is alleged that during the course of his employment, between April 1, 2012 and March 1, 2013, Snedeker ordered materials for fraudulent job orders that he created and then keeping the materials for himself and misused company credit card accounts. The total amount of theft allegedly exceeds $75,000, making it a second degree crime.
Fairfield detectives, armed with an arrest warrant, took Snedeker into custody at his South River residence. He was eventually released on $75,000 bail and given an initial court appearance date of May 9, 2013 in the Superior Court in Newark, N.J. The case was investigated by Detective Sergeant Charles Zampino. (It should be noted that the charges against Snedeker are merely allegations and that he is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law)
