South Carolina Pair Arrested for Prostitution
Fairfield (NJ) The Fairfield Police Department announces the arrest of Chelsie Hightower (23) and Alexandria Bodden (24) both of Somerville, South Carolina for engaging in prostitution on February 17, 2014. In addition, Hightower was also charged with promoting prostitution.
Fairfield law enforcement officials became aware that the pair was set up in a room at a local hotel and soliciting patrons via an Internet advertisement. An undercover police officer, with a back up team of officers, was sent to the location and it is alleged the officer was solicited by the pair to engage in sexual acts with them in exchange for money. The pair was arrested without incident.
Both females were released on their own recognizance with a pending court date of February 26, 2014 in the Superior Court in Newark, N.J. (It should be noted that the charges against the two are merely allegations and that both are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law)
