Tree Falls and Damages Vehicles and Building

Fairfield (NJ) On July 5, 2014, at 3:55 PM, Officer Sean McCormack responded to Hudson Equities Management, located at 7 Kingsbridge Road, on a report of a tree that had just fallen and damaged vehicles in the parking lot. When the officer arrived, he found a large tree had come down directly on a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis and completely crushed it. Also struck were a 2012 Mazda and a 2014 Mitsubishi. A portion of the building also was damaged. No injuries were reported. The Fairfield Fire Department also responded to determine the extent of the damage to the building.
