National Night Out, which takes place on the first Tuesday of August each year, is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Since 2015, the police department has coordinated a town wide event that usually includes free food and water, ice cream, games, entertainment but most importantly, the opportunity to spend time with our police officers in a different environment and way then most citizens usually do.
