​Former Fairfield Police Special Police Officer Nicholas Sierchio Passes Away

Fairfield (NJ) It is with the heaviest of hearts and a profound sadness that Chief Anthony G. Manna and the officers and staff of the Fairfield Police Department announce the passing of former Special Police Officer Nicholas Sierchio. Special Officer Sierchio passed away earlier today surrounded by his family.

Special Officer Sierchio served the Township of Fairfield for over 38 years in a variety of different capacities to include as a special police officer, court security officer and as the township’s emergency management coordinator.

“I am truly saddened to learn of the passing of Nick. He truly was all things Fairfield and he and his enduring smile will be missed by all of his family and friends. He will always be a beloved member of our Fairfield Police Department family,” said Chief Manna.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
