Clifton Woman Arrested for Shoplifting at Target

Fairfield (NJ) – The Fairfield Police Department announces the arrest of Milagro Caliolio (63) of Clifton, NJ for shoplifting at Target on March 28, 2026.
On that date at approximately 12:41 pm, Fairfield officers were dispatched to the Target store for a report of a shoplifting in progress. Further updates provided to the officers stated the female suspect had gotten into a white Toyota Corolla bearing New Jersey registration B62-HCA and exiting from Target onto Route 46 East.
Officer Frank Patierno located the vehicle as he was travelling on Route 46 East into Little Falls. He conducted a motor vehicle stop and found Caliolio to be the driver. Video surveillance from Target confirmed Caliolio as the suspect. It is alleged she filled a shopping cart with various merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying. When approached by security, she left the filled shopping cart and ran to her vehicle, subsequently fleeing the scene. The total shoplifted was $765.00.
Caliolio was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. She was charged with shoplifting and later released pending an initial appearance at the Fairfield Municipal Court.
