Wanted Trenton Man Arrested for Shoplifting at Target

Fairfield (NJ) – The Fairfield Police Department announces the arrest of Dominick Robinson, (29), of Trenton, NJ, for shoplifting on February 27, 2026. On that date at approximately 12:48 pm, Fairfield officers were dispatched to Target on a report of a male who had fled the store after allegedly committing a shoplifting. It was reported the male was last seen running towards Route 46 East.
A description of the male was relayed to responding officers and Officer Sean Wilk located Robinson, who matched the description, near the Route 46 East entrance to the Willowbrook Mall. An inquiry into Robinson’s identity was made, and he was found to be wanted out of Mercer County, NJ. Further investigation by officers on scene revealed the stolen merchandise, a computer gaming mouse valued at approximately $89.99, in his possession.
Robinson was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. He was charged with shoplifting and later released to the custody of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.
