Established in 2017, the Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) is mostly assigned each day to conduct selective and concentrated traffic enforcement to help maintain safe roadways throughout the community. The department’s motorcycles are assigned to this unit. SEU officers also help supplement the Investigative Section during specialized operations included targeted patrol functions. In addition, they coordinate funeral and other necessary police escorts and investigate serious motor vehicle crashes.
