On that date at approximately 3:01 am, police headquarters received a call from a concerned citizen regarding a possible intoxicated driver located at the Fairfield McDonalds. A vehicle and driver description were provided to police dispatch. A short time later Officer James Ciampi arrived and located a vehicle matching that description on the shoulder of Route 46 East.
