Fairfield (NJ) The Fairfield Police Department announces the arrest of Cameron Remak-Pie (27) of West Caldwell, NJ for shoplifting on April 5, 2023. Â On that date at approximately 6:09 pm, officers were called to the Target store on a report of a shoplifter in custody. Â Target Asset Protection allegedly observed Remak-Pie enter the dressing room in different clothing than which he exited. Â Remak-Pie then purchased several items at the self-check-out, not including the suit he was now wearing. Â He was stopped by asset protection after completing his purchase and detained until officers arrived on scene.

Officer John Seragusa investigated and Remak-Pie was placed under arrest for shoplifting and transported to police headquarters for processing. Â Remak-Pie was later released on his own recognizance pending a May 31, 2023 date at the Superior Court in Newark, NJ.
